About Emma
Emma has been making work since graduating from the University of Worcester in 2019. She is a skilled actor, director and writer, who specialised in queer theatre, comedy and puppetry. In 2020, Emma began experimenting with the medium of Drag and has created a personas, Vincent Van Gosh.
Deconstructing stereotypes and social norms through the lens of comedy, alongside offering a voice of validation and representation for those without, are at the forefront of her work. Emma loves the flamboyance, the quirkiness and the inclusivity of LGBTQ+ theatre and how it creates a safe environment for anyone of any race/gender/sexuality to be unequivocally themselves.
Her work has been commission by Attenborough Arts Centre and Beeline Storytelling Festival.

Alongside her solo work, Emma is currently Artistic Director of Chaotic Neutral Theatre Company and has appeared in Extro-Terrestrial and Sex-Ed Cabaret.
